A dish which is high in demand for a whole month of Ramadan is called Pheni.
Pheni is available at every sweet shop or any bakery but during a month of Ramadan. There are two types of pheni one is made u of a ghee and other is made up of a vegetable oil.
What is pheni?
Pheni is a sweet dish which is eaten with a bowl of milk as a dessert in sehri. The name of a dish has come from the middle east (central Asia) but in reality, it is an Indian puri or Rajisthani sutarfeni.
It is made from ghee and semolina which is digested slowly and keeps you away from feeling hungry.
Children and elder want something healthier then the spicy foods, for them a bowl of pheni is a good option…
Why eating pheni in sehri was a good idea?
Eating pheni is good in sehri because Pheni made up of semolina which is in rich in fibre. However, preparing pheni took a little time of about 6-10 minutes.
Actual pheni is made up of semolina which gives a good taste but some people made with a fine wheat floor which ruined the taste.
