Last night when we all were busy in our respective lives, doing all the work that we scheduled to do. There were many who were fighting a battle with their inner selves out of those many people one girl, lost her battle. She had enough of fighting, nobody knows what she was fighting with, nobody felt the baggage that she was carrying – no one tried to take that baggage off her back and tell her the right thing.
Depression is real – we all say that but do we actually work on eliminating it.
She was intelligent, beautiful, witty, and an inspiration to many – her friends quoted about her.
She bid her goodbye to the society by posting her picture in a beautiful yellow saree, with a caption, “If I decide to kill myself anytime soon, I want you all to remember me like this. Just in this saree, on a spring afternoon looking happy, too happy.”
Depression doesn’t come with a warning, it would get you, me or anyone breathing near us.
There is a saying, “jo Ziada hasta hai, wo apne dil main bohat ghum chupaaye betha hota hai.” This might or might not be true but yes, do keep a check on people connected to you anyway.
We hear people saying a lot, oh I’m just a call or message away, I say this too. But do message the person suffering because he/she might be hesitant to come out and speak to you about it.
