RECIPE FOR All THE CHOCOLATE LOVERS; CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BROWNIE HEARTS
The love of chocolate is forever. Chocolate is considered as the sweetest drug in the world. People of all the ages love to eat them in the form of cakes, brownies, donuts or simply the chocolate as it is.
Imagine the richest, darkest chocolate dessert in the form of fudge drizzled ice cream, fluffy frosted chocolate cup cakes, creamy custard, the chocolate lovers can satisfy the sweet tooth just by reading the names of these mouth watering treats.
Let me give you my all time favorite recipe of the best chocolate brownies.As February is around the corner and the month is specific for the Valentine’s day, so do try it and surprise your loved ones on the special day.
180grams dark chocolate (chopped)
½ cup caster sugar
2 eggs ( lightly beaten)
1 ¼ cups plain flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
220grams block cooking chocolate (frozen and chopped )
Cocoa powder- to decorate
1.Preheat oven to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Grease a 18 cm * 28cm rectangular pan.
3.Line base and sides with baking paper, allowing a 2cm overhang a long ends.
4.Place butter and dark chocolate in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
5.Cook, stirring for 3 to 5 minutes or until smooth.
6.Remove from heat.
7. Stir in sugar.
8. Set aside for 5 minutes.
9. Whisk eggs into chocolate mixture until combined.
10. Add sifted flour and cocoa.
11.Whisk to combine.
12.Fold in the chopped cooking chocolate.
13.Spread mixture into the prepared pan.
14.Bake for 20 minutes or until top is firm to touch.
15.Set aside to cool completely.
16. Using a 5cm heart shaped cutter, cut brownie shapes.
17.Serve dusted with cocoa powder.
If you don’t have a heart shaped cutter, you can cut the brownies into squares or other shapes.You can add 1 cup of chopped nuts to the batter or decorate the top of each brownie with a walnut.
