The newly established PTI government plans to introduce a uniform education system in Pakistan in collaboration with private educational institutions. According to local media reports, the PM Imran Khan has emphasized the need for new modifications in the education system. He has also stressed that there should be a uniform education curriculum throughout the country.
The PM also criticized various educational systems in the nation as they are becoming the basis of discrimination in Pakistan. Previously, the federal minister for education Shafqat Mahmood had also mentioned that the Ministry of Education is focussing to form a uniform education policy.

O-level & A-level Education System
However, if the government introduces the uniform and the modified educational system is imposed in Pakistan; it would raise some questions about the continuation of O and A level education system. But, so far, no confirmation has been shared in this regard.
Not only that, the PTI government is also considering to improve the Madrasa system. The government has recommended for including Science, Maths and English Language as compulsory subjects for the students getting Madrasa education.
