Procrastination – is an act of putting things off.
It could either be completing your assignment which is due after 24 hours or delaying studying for an important exam. In my case it was this blog.
Yes I love procrastinating but sometimes procrastination could also be a pain in ass. For e.g. when we were assigned this task I kept telling myself that I still have 5 days to write it. Than 5 became 4 and 4 became 3 and then boom it was Friday night and believe it or not I wrote this thing at literal night, when my brain was half asleep and I still had no idea what to write about, so I wrote on something I’m good at and that is “procrastination”.
Ironic isn’t it? A procrastinator writing about procrastination? But don’t you think only someone who is good at something can understand it.
Yes I procrastinate and I’m proud of my procrastination. Why? Because putting my things to the very last moment makes me realize that I can do a lot in a little time and sometimes I get other things done which never comes of important to me at first glance.
Bottom line sometimes procrastination can work in your favor and sometimes it don’t and sometimes you end up completing things you didn’t considered completing.
Lastly I’ll quote a writer who wrote a book on procrastination while he should have been grading papers:
“When people procrastinate, it’s not that they aren’t doing anything; they simply aren’t doing something that’s more important.”
