There’s a saying which says,
” A teacher is someone who tells you where to look but never tells you what to look”.
Try understanding this point, a teacher should be the one who can guide you and tell you the right and wrong, should tell you pros and cons of your decision but never tell you what should be your decision.
There’s no gender specificity in it and there shouldn’t be. But, there are a few personality traits which has to be in a person in order to be a good teacher.
I’m not disrespecting my gender but I’m discussing my gender’s problems and lacking. Male teachers are good at handling emotions while females are epitome of emotions, female ones grade under the influence of their sentiments, emotions and personal liking and disliking.
That’s cause we get to hear a term “favoritism” often from female faculty but never from male faculty.
Females are less professional in most of the cases always having excuses ready to be given while a male manages his problems. He makes this management look easy and balances the private and professional life very well.
Then lets look upon some social hindrances, females have lesser opportunities as compared to men. Females don’t have proper exposure to the practical side. They have no exposure of industry or market, or to say to the practical world. Thus, they have only textual knowledge not conceptual one. On the other hand males have proper practical exposure thus they can make people follow their dreams as the way he had. He’s open to new challenges and approaches.
We raise our daughters to be blind followers not fighters but men are raised to be fighters, that’s why men know how to make path out of nowhere and create beam of hope in extreme darkness. Thus, male teachers are better than females.
I have a number of female teachers who have been excellent but all of them had these extra ordinary qualities which I have mentioned above and that made them remarkable. Able to stand in a millions.
