There’s a real-story of a girl who got rejected without even being interviewed.
“I’m not a hijabi but I wear hijaab whenever I’m in a public transport”
Fair enough, this girl wear hijab/abaya whenever she’s travelling alone in public transport, for whatsoever reason. That’s none of anyone’s concern. Her dressing sense is totally her business, no one gets to say anything about it.
Earlier today, she went for an interview in a renowned company for an interview. While she was waiting for her turn to come. A lady approached her and told her that her manager doesn’t want to interview her just because she’s wearing hijaab.
She wasn’t rejected because any lacking in her experience but because she was wearing hijaab.
I wonder where are we heading to!
Rejecting someone over her/his dressing sense is the lowest one could do. When will this discrimination end?
Women in our country are still fighting a never ending case against gender discrimination, now they have to fight this one too?
This country is Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for heaven’s sake!
It’s totally one’s choice to wear hijab/abaya or not!
Rejecting someone on the basis of complexion, height, weight, caste, religion is totally baseless. You’re running a company. Stop with all this nonsense!
The girl got saved from working in such environment! It was her good day, I believe!
