A hail of HK$100 bank notes rained on to streets of poor vicinity of Hong Kong named Sham Shui Po district . Reportedly, Wong Ching-kit, 24, owns a crypto currency based Facebook page. He is supposed as “Bitcoin millionaire” and popularly called as a “Young Coin Master”. It seems like Christmas surprise actually fell early to the people of Sham Shui Po district. This dramatic scene drove everyone into frenzy. It was filmed by too many people by their smartphones. The shocking cash rain held on Saturday, 17 December.
While the man was also live streaming the scene. It is described as a publicity stunt that was later became very difficult to handle by the police, it led people mad, it was just a dream came true kind of moment for those poor working people. He was arrested by the police on Sunday due to this act of creating disorderly conduct in that area.
This whole scene of fluttering notes falling from the roof top was filmed and went quite viral. Reportedly, the police has recovered approx HK$6,000 up till now that means 766 US Dollars. But the act of philanthropy didn’t end here. Wong was released on bail this Tuesday. After the bail he donated approx 100,000 to Sham Shui Po’s restaurant to feed poor people of locality. Well what ever his intentions were behind that cash rain and all but the donation seems to be a nice philanthropic gesture by this “Young Coin Master”.
