The French embassy in Pakistan has issued the details of the Eiffel scholarship programme aimed for Pakistani students who are seeking admissions in the universities of France.
The French Ministry of Europe & Foreign Affairs has announced that the scholarship will be awarded to top foreign students who want to enroll in the Masters and Ph.D. programs of French higher education institutions.
According to the details issued by the French embassy, the Eiffel scholarship covers four major fields of studies at the Masters’ level and at the Doctorate/Ph.D. level.
- law/political sciences, and
- engineering sciences
The scholarship covers the finances of the diploma course at Masters’ level for 12 to 36 months. As for as the Ph.D. programs are concerned, the scholarship covers the 10-month program as part of a joint direction or joint supervision of thesis (preferably the second year of the Ph.D.).
Interestingly enough, the scholarship will also include a monthly stipend, which covers the living cost of the students but not tuition fee. French institutions, which agree to enroll the students who win the scholarship, have also put forth the applications. As per the notification of the embassy, this program is only meant for foreign candidates.
Last Date to Apply
Students who are interested to apply can get the application forms online at Campus France. The last date to submit the application is January 11, 2019, and the results will be announced in March 2019.
The applicants must be no more than 30-years-old when appearing before the selection committee for an interview to apply for the Master’s Program while the maximum age limit for the Ph.D. program is 35 years at the time of interview.
