When will we get over with our obsession with being “GORA”?
I believe never.
Dark, light and everything in between is beautiful. Why do we walk around with a skin-tone scale in our hand?
Is it so hard to just accept anyone as he or she is, dark or light. Well to be honest girls are judged a lot more than guys!
Khud ka larka chahe kitna hi dark ho larki gori honi chahye hai. Akhir kyun?
To all the mothers out there, surat se kuch nahi hota hai.
Goray rang pe itna gumaan na karr gora rang to 4 din me dhal jaaye ga. – An Indian song kept nothing back.
I believe these influencers, make-up artist and every single person in the society who has been looked up to by the common people play a significant role in shaping up the society.
Let me share something that has been circling in my head for a long time now.
On a fine Sunday morning, with my cup of tea, I sat down in front of my television set I went through a few different channels looking for something interesting to watch. Then there was one thing that caught my attention – it was no show or a movie but an advertisement, which saddened me deeply.
Let’s watch it first then I will talk about it further.
So, after watching the video [it’s not the same advertisement that I had seen the other day]. After watching the video we all can conclude that.
- The guy has some great make-up skills.
- He’s got really good hairdo skills too.
- He managed to kill the confidence of thousands of girls who have this teeny-weeny phobia of being dark, dusky or having wheat-ish complexion.
He did have some great skills to turn a dark girl into a fair toned girl; someone who she is not. If he had applied makeup products that matched her complexion, it would’ve been a lot better. I don’t know what was his motto behind bringing someone from a foreign country, cake her face with make-up and make her look someone who she is not. There are a lot of make-up influencers/artists who are dark or dusky they apply make-up too without turning them into some different person and they look absolutely beautiful.
Let’s not stress upon on being fair and lovely; dark is also lovely. Being a beautiful person from the inside matter a lot more than being fair.
Beauty has no complexion and there is no such scale introduced that can measure beauty!
