Company with an estimated worth of $105 Billion is developing an air hub in Texas. Earlier in 2017 we heard that Amazon is spending 1.49 billions on its air hub at Kentucky. Amazon has been operating its business from its primary air hub at Cincinnati/Kentucky International Airport, with short distance to UPS’s major hub. These days Amazon announced that it is building new regional air hub at Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport, Texas.
Through this way Amazon has estimated to save billion dollars that company used to spend on air shipping. According to a blog published at Business Insider, it says that “the company has announced last week to expand the operation at Chicago’s Rockford Airport”.
While with this big thing Amazon has come to give tough time to FedEx and United Parcel Service Inc.
“Amazon’s new air hub could compete directly with FedEx and UPS,” a team of Morgan Stanley analysts led by Ravi Shanker wrote in a client note out Friday. Via Business Insider
